 Received the following email from Scott D, who got it from Sam, who got it from Kevin Conner about his wife Rene:
I am so sad and sorry tp write this news to you... I have just had to take Rene to Hospital where they admitted her for treatment. We are both stunned and shocked by the Doctor's report. We have had some serious trials of faith over the last several months and been looking to the Lord for His help. Rene had the shingles, then a car accident. After x-rays they found cancer of the breast which they operated on. Then the day I brought her home, she had some heart problems and ended up with a pace-maker. Now the specialist today, after further x-rays shows that the cancer cells have moved into her spine so that is hardly able to walk with the malignant growth pressing on the nerves at the base of her spine. Had to wheel her into the hospital immediately. She will be receiving radiology treatment over the next two weeks. But it is not a good report. We are both stunned and shocked. I have just cancelled the trip to Russia (leaving next Tuesday) and all other overseas trips because of this. I am so sad and sorry about this...
Kevin & Rene are 2 of my favorite people in the world & 2 of the finest Christians i know. Please pray for them.
